Mr. Fuerst has served as the Cuyahoga Clerk of Courts since 1975.

Mr. Fuerst is a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga County.  He is married and the father of six children.

Mr. Fuerst is a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School, has a bachelor of arts degree from Adelbert College, Case Western Reserve University, and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University

Mr. Fuerst is an attorney at law; has been elected state representative for two terms;  and has served as a county government liaison officer for five years.
